Basic Farm Tools

Farm tools are special tools that farmers use to help them with their work on the farm. Thes tools make farming tasks easier and help us grow crops and raise animals for food.

Types of Farm Tools

Hoe

A tool with a long handle and a flat blade used for digging,weeding,and loosening soil.

Rake

A tool with a long handle and a set of teeth used for gathering leaves,hay,and other materials.

Shovel

A tool with a long handle and a wide, flat blade used for digging, moving soil, and scooping materials.

Plow

A tool pulled by animals or a tractor used for turning over soil and preparing it for planting.

Sickle

A tool with a curved blade used for cutting grass and crops.

Watering Can

A container with a spout used for watering plants.

Differentiation

For pupils who need more support, the teacher will provide one-on-one assistance and use simpler language. For advanced learners, the teacher will encourage them to research and present information on additional farm tools.
