Why the World Needed a Saviour
The world needed a Saviour because of sin. Sin separates us from God, and it began with the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Since then, all humans are born with a sinful nature. This sin leads to spiritual death and eternal separation from God.

Imagine you did something wrong at home, like breaking a vase. You might feel scared and try to hide it, but your parents will eventually find out. Sin is like that broken vase. It causes a separation between us and God, and we cannot fix it on our own.

The Role of the Saviour
Jesus Christ, the Saviour, came to bridge the gap between us and God. He was sent by God because of His immense love for us.

Jesus lived a perfect life without sin. He taught about God’s love and performed many miracles. Ultimately, He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins. By doing this, He made a way for us to be forgiven and to have a relationship with God.

Jesus Saves Sinners and Makes Them Children of God
The main essence of Jesus’ mission was to save sinners and bring them into God’s family. When we believe in Jesus and accept Him as our Saviour, we are forgiven of our sins. This means that we are no longer separated from God.

Imagine you were lost in a big forest. You would feel scared and unsure of how to find your way out. Jesus is like a guide who finds you and leads you safely out of the forest. When we accept Jesus, He guides us and brings us close to God, making us His children.
Bible Verse: “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).
Jesus Gives Us Eternal Life
Another wonderful gift from Jesus is eternal life. Eternal life means living forever with God in heaven. This life begins the moment we accept Jesus as our Saviour. We are not only saved from the punishment of sin but are also given a new life filled with God’s love and presence.

This eternal life is a life of joy, peace, and purpose. It means that even after our time on earth ends, we will continue to live with God forever. This is a promise from Jesus, and it shows how much He loves us.
