1. Mechanical Energy: This is the energy of motion. It is the energy that an object has because it is moving. Some examples of mechanical energy include a moving car, a swinging pendulum, and a rolling ball.
2. Thermal Energy: This is the energy of heat. It is the energy that is associated with the temperature of an object. Some examples of thermal energy include the heat from the sun, the heat from a fire, and the heat from a hot stove.
3. Electrical Energy: This is the energy of electricity. It is the energy that is associated with the flow of electrons. Some examples of electrical energy include the electricity that powers our homes, the electricity that powers our cars, and the electricity that powers our computers.
4. Light Energy: This is the energy of light. It is the energy that is associated with the electromagnetic radiation that we can see. Some examples of light energy include the light from the sun, the light from a light bulb, and the light from a fire.
5. Sound Energy: This is the energy of sound. It is the energy that is associated with the vibrations of matter. Some examples of sound energy include the sound of music, the sound of a car horn, and the sound of a clap.
